RBT Salary Georgia | Special Needs Jobs
If you want one number for an RBT salary in Georgia, the closest honest answer is a range: current job ads run from $16.50 to $32 an hour. Anything more precise would be a guess, since there is no official average for RBTs.
What I looked at
The Georgia RBT page on Special Needs Jobs had 57 openings from 8 employers on October 16, 2026, with pay stated on 54 of them. Typical lines from the page: $19 to $25 an hour, $20 to $30, $25 to $30. A single salaried posting listed $65,000 to $75,000.
For context, the board's national RBT hourly ads cover $15 to $34 across 1,016 listings.
Three things to ask before you say yes
- Guaranteed hours. A high rate with few paid hours can pay less than a lower rate with a full schedule. The board's ABA salary guide shows $23 an hour for 32 hours beating $27 for 24.
- Cancellations. If a family cancels, do you still get paid?
- Unbilled time. Drive time, supervision meetings and session notes are not always paid.
If North Carolina is on your list too, this look at North Carolina RBT wages walks through current NC listings and what to ask about paid hours.
